Frequently Asked Questions

What is Rapid Relief Restorative Cream?
A soothing, non-greasy cream formulated for horses to support healthy skin appearance and comfort on problem-prone areas. It’s designed for real-world barn conditions and frequent use.
What does it help with?
Common barn challenges like minor rubs, scurfy patches, and moisture-stressed skin (think sweat, tack contact, mud). It helps maintain a clean, comfortable skin environment.
How do I apply it?
  1. Clean the area with cool water and pat dry.
  2. Apply a thin, even layer of Rapid Relief over and slightly beyond the area.
  3. Leave uncovered or use a breathable wrap/pad if needed.
  4. Reapply 1–2× daily until the skin looks normal, then taper as needed.

Spot-test before first use. Keep out of eyes and deep/open wounds.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. It’s crafted to be gentle for routine use. As with any topical, spot-test on first use and discontinue if irritation occurs.
Can I use it under wraps, boots, or pads?
Yes—apply thin and even, and keep gear clean and dry. If wrapping, check the area at the next change and re-apply as needed.
Is it show-safe?
Rapid Relief is formulated without typical show-restricted ingredients and is suitable for FEI/USEF environments when used as directed. Always follow your association’s current rules.
How often should I use it?
1–2× daily for active issues. For maintenance in muddy, sweaty, or humid conditions, use a light layer as needed after cleaning and drying the area.
How does it compare to RESTOREaHORSE®?
Both support healthy skin. Rapid Relief is a cream with a smooth, quick-setting feel; RESTOREaHORSE® is a liqui-gel salve that stays put on high-motion areas. Choose the texture that fits the job—or use each where it shines.
Can I pair it with other Draw It Out® products?
Yes. Many riders cool first (see IceBath™/CryoSpray®), then apply Rapid Relief to targeted skin areas. For muscles/legs, use a thin layer of our 16oz High Potency Gel.
Will it attract dirt or leave a residue?
It sets clean when applied thin. Wipe away any excess at your next grooming before reapplying.
Storage & shelf life?
Store at room temperature—out of direct sun and away from freezing. Keep the cap closed to protect product quality.
Any common-sense cautions?
For external equine use only. Avoid eyes and deep/open wounds. If issues persist or you’re unsure, consult your veterinarian.
