How to Use Draw It Out® Products

Quick answer: clean first, use the product labeled for the body using it, apply according to the label, and stop guessing when symptoms are severe, sudden, unexplained, or worsening.

Use rules that prevent bad decisions

• Match the label to the body. Horse for horse, dog for dog, human for human.
• Clean and dry first. Dirt, sweat, mud, residue, and broken skin change the decision.
• Use thin layers. More product is not automatically better.
• Do not layer unknown products. Avoid improvised mixing, heating pads, medicated patches, or occlusive covering unless the label or a qualified professional allows it.
• Do not use product to hide a diagnosis. Severe pain, lameness, swelling, heat, wounds, numbness, weakness, breathing problems, or rapid change require professional help.
