What actually changes the reapplication window

Sweat and bathing: heavy work, hosing, and repeated wetting can shorten the useful window.
Rain and turnout: weather and exposure differ from one barn to the next.
Coat preparation: brush away loose dirt, sweat, and dust before label-directed application.
Insect pressure: a light day and a peak-pressure evening are not the same test.
Horse response: scent, spray pattern, handling, and skin response vary by individual horse.
