Ava Wright: High School Senior, Horse Trainer, and Boulder County Fair Queen
Ava Wright is a passionate high school senior who loves barrel racing, ranch roping, and showmanship. She takes pride in training versatile horses who can perform in any environment. As an aspiring horse trainer, her goal is to qualify for the American in barrel racing with her five-year-old and compete in ranch horse versatility with her four-year-old.
In addition to her budding career in the equine industry, Ava is the 2023 Boulder County Fair Queen. As an ambassador for agriculture, she enjoys educating the public about rodeo and the importance of agriculture to society. She will be attending Tarleton State University in the fall, studying Animal Science Business with an Equine Concentration to further her business.
Ava's favorite Draw It Out (DiO) product is MasterMudd, which she uses on her horses' legs after every competition. The poultice helps her horses move more fluidly and prevents stiffness. She loves the product and trusts it above all others. When not in the barn, Ava is busy training her dog and working with her 4H market lambs, all while expanding her knowledge in any way she can.
