No-rinse horse cleanup without a waterless shampoo

  1. Dry-groom first. Curry and brush away loose dirt, dried sweat, and hair before adding moisture.
  2. Use a clean damp towel for small marks. Work in sections and change towels or rinse them as they pick up dirt.
  3. Spot-rinse when conditions allow. Use clean water on the affected area, then dry the coat fully.
  4. Do not improvise with concentrated essential oils or household cleaners. A horse's skin is not the place for a guess.
