When to Use

- Season changes: During heavy shedding or footing swings.
- Routine care: As part of your weekly hoof/skin maintenance.
Always follow the label and your organization’s rules.
Supplies
- SilverHoof EQ Therapy®
- Hoof pick + soft brush
- Clean towel or sponge
- Optional: gloves
Step-by-Step
1) Pick & Prep
Pick the hoof and brush away packed dirt. Dry the frog, sole, heel bulbs, and pastern.
2) Target Zones
Apply a thin layer to the coronet band, heel bulbs, pastern skin, and as needed along the hoof wall. Avoid over-saturating the sole.
3) Work It In
Use fingertips or a cloth to massage into skin for 20–30 seconds per hoof.
4) Set Time
Let it set briefly before turnout, booting, or riding to reduce transfer.
5) Routine
Use 1–2x daily during tough conditions; taper to maintenance as things normalize.
Simple Programs
- Baseline: Apply after cleaning 3–4x/week.
- Wet week: Daily for 3–5 days, then reassess.
- Show week: Post-bath and post-ride as needed (thin layers, quick set time).
Track what works—every horse writes their own playbook.
Pro Tips
- Thin beats thick: Even coverage + consistency > globbing it on.
- Dry first: Product performs best on dry skin and clean walls.
- Pair smartly: Keep Draw It Out® 16oz Gel for legs that need a stay-put layer in your daily routine.
