Build an Equine Hydration and Care Routine

Build a routine around reliable water access, a feeding plan, and the work your horse actually does. This page is a planning checklist, not a fixed bundle with a promised set of products or a single bundle price.

Start with the daily plan

  • Know where clean water will be available at home, on the road, and at your destination.
  • Record what your horse normally drinks and eats so changes are easier to recognize.
  • Discuss electrolyte use with your veterinarian or equine nutrition professional, especially when work, weather, travel, or the ration changes.

Review electrolyte support separately

Hydro-Lyte® with GastroCell® is the current product route for electrolyte support. Use that page and the current label for serving directions, ingredients, and availability. Confirm the total ration before combining supplements; a product name alone does not tell you whether two products duplicate ingredients.

Do not use a supplement as a substitute for drinking water or veterinary assessment when your horse seems unwell.

Keep topical care in its own lane

Draw It Out® 16oz Gel and Draw It Out® 32oz Concentrate are topical-care options. Applying liniment does not establish that a horse is hydrated or replace an electrolyte feeding plan. Select the format for its intended external use and follow the current directions.

Make the plan easy to hand off

Write down the feed and water routine, any approved supplement amounts, and who is responsible at each stop. Keep original labels with the products. The next person caring for your horse should be able to follow the plan without guessing.
