Draw It Out® Guide

How to Use IceBath™ Cooling Body Wash & Brace

Fast, clean cooldown that doesn’t waste motion. This routine gets sweat off, brings temp down, and keeps coats feeling fresh—no diva steps.

Time: ~7 minutes • Difficulty: Easy • Best for: Post-work cooldowns, hot show days, trailer resets

What it is

IceBath™ is a dual-use cooling body wash and no-rinse brace. It helps cut sweat, freshen coats, and speed the cooldown without leaving a sticky mess.

Rider-first promise: quick steps, clear results, zero diva routine.

When to use

  • Post-work: After rides, ropings, or drills—wash or brace to bring them back comfortable.
  • Hot show days: Between classes to reset sweat and keep coats presentable.
  • Travel: Trailer dust and salt grime—fast sponge and scrape.

Always follow label directions. Avoid eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Dilution guide

Use Mix Notes
Standard wash 1–2 oz / 1 gal cool water Lifts sweat/grime; scrape excess—rinse optional.
No-rinse brace 2–3 oz / 1 gal water Sponge on after work, scrape, air-dry. No rinse.
Quick spot clean 1 oz / ½ gal water Neck, chest, girth marks. Towel dry.
Cold-weather wash 1–2 oz / 1 gal warm water Work indoors, dry thoroughly to avoid chill.

Step-by-Step

1) Mix Wash

Add product to the bucket (see table), then water. Stir for even mix.

2) Sponge On

Start at the neck and work back. Keep passes smooth and even; avoid eyes and nostrils.

3) Light Curry Where Needed

Use gentle circles on sweaty or grimy zones. Skip sensitive areas.

4) Scrape & Towel

Pull solution off with a sweat scraper. Towel high-drip spots.

5) Optional Brace Mode

Use the stronger mix. After scraping, do not rinse—let air-dry for that brace effect.

6) Reset

Rinse tools, dump leftover mix, and store product capped, out of sun.

Simple programs

  • After-ride baseline: Standard wash mix, sponge → scrape. Brace only on heavy days.
  • Show week: Quick brace between classes; full wash at day’s end.
  • Hauling days: Spot clean at arrival; brace after light leg stretch.

Track what works—every horse writes their own playbook.

Pro tips

  • Order of operations: Sponge first, curry second, then scrape—keeps dirt moving out, not around.
  • Water temp: Cool water speeds cooldown; warm water in winter prevents chill.
  • Save the legs for last: Work top-down so dirty runoff doesn’t re-soil cleaned areas.

Quick FAQs

Do I need to rinse?

Not in brace mode. For standard wash, scrape/towel is usually enough—rinse only if you over-applied or want a full reset.

Face safe?

Avoid eyes and nostrils. For the face, use a clean damp towel with diluted solution—no direct sponging near eyes.

Can I use it daily?

Yes—use standard dilution. If coat feels tacky, you’re using too much; lighten the mix and scrape thoroughly.

Stack with liniment?

Use IceBath™ first to clean and cool, dry the legs, then apply your preferred Draw It Out® liniment per its label.
