Product use guide

Rapid Relief Spray and Cream Use Guide

Use Rapid Relief products for horse skin-care routines when the concern is external, appropriate, and not a wound or emergency.

Quick answer: Use Rapid Relief Spray for lighter coverage and Rapid Relief Cream for focused hand placement. Do not apply over deep, open, infected-looking, hot, painful, spreading, or worsening skin concerns without veterinary guidance.

Spray vs cream

  • Spray: quick coverage, grooming bags, trailer kits, and hair-covered areas.
  • Cream: controlled hand placement for rough, dry, rub-prone, or cannon-crud areas.

How to use

  1. Clean the area gently.
  2. Dry or clear excess moisture when needed.
  3. Apply spray or cream according to the job.
  4. Keep the area monitored and prevent repeated rubbing when possible.
  5. Escalate if the area spreads, drains, heats up, or becomes painful.

Call your vet if

  • Open wound, puncture, drainage, fever, swelling, or severe pain.
  • Rapid spreading, deep tissue involvement, or multiple horses affected.
  • Skin condition does not improve or keeps returning.
