A $500 annual scholarship for equestrian student-athletes and equine studies students who believe better horse care starts with education, responsibility, compassion, and practical innovation.

The Draw It Out® Equine Wellness Scholarship is a $500 annual award for currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at accredited U.S. colleges or universities who are involved in equestrian sports or equine-related studies. Applications are due June 1, 2026.

The Equine Wellness Scholarship supports students who are building a future around horses, whether through equestrian athletics, equine science, animal science, pre-veterinary work, veterinary technology, or practical horse care leadership.

Eligibility

Who can apply?

Enrolled students

Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited U.S. college or university.

Equestrian involvement

Applicants should be actively involved in equestrian sports such as rodeo, hunter/jumper, reining, barrel racing, dressage, eventing, ranch riding, or related disciplines.

Equine studies encouraged

Students in Equine Science, Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary, or Veterinary Technology are especially encouraged to apply.

Bonus consideration: Applicants active in 4-H, FFA, collegiate equestrian clubs, or equestrian teams are encouraged to mention that involvement in the application.

Fund distribution

How the $500 award is paid

Funds will be sent directly to the financial aid office of the winner’s university to be applied toward tuition or academic expenses when possible.

If the winner’s school is unable to process the award, the scholarship may be distributed directly to the student.
