No. Sweet itch and recurring insect-bite hypersensitivity are veterinary and management questions. Citraquin® belongs only in an ordinary, label-directed fly-season routine on intact skin. It is not an allergy medication, treatment, cure, diagnostic tool, or guarantee.
Do not apply it to raw, broken, bleeding, blistered, or actively irritated areas unless the label specifically directs otherwise. When rubbing, welts, hair loss, or skin damage are already present, inspect the skin and move into the appropriate veterinary or skin-care decision lane.

How long does Citraquin® last?
There is no single barn-wide guarantee. Sweat, rain, bathing, coat preparation, turnout, airflow, and insect pressure can change the reapplication window. Follow the current label and recheck by conditions.
Is a naturally derived spray automatically right for every sensitive horse?
No. Horses vary. Follow the label, avoid broken or irritated skin, and stop use if an abnormal skin or behavior response appears. If your horse reacts, stop application and use the horse fly-spray reaction guide before restarting the routine.
What if my bottle arrives leaking or the trigger sprayer does not work?
Keep the bottle upright and confirm the closure is tight and the nozzle is open. Prime the trigger several times before first use. If the bottle arrived leaking or the sprayer still does not work, stop using that package and email Support@drawliniment.com with your order number and a photo so the team can help.
