Rule of Three

1) Thin Gel → 2) Absorb → 3) Optional Barrier or Tape

  1. Thin Gel (Pre/Post Ride): Apply a light, even layer to fronts/shoulders, back/SI & loins, and hindquarters/hamstrings. Massage in.
  2. Absorb Fully: Wait ~1–2 min for a thin coat. Dry-to-touch hair = ready. Wipe any excess near tack contact.
  3. Optional Layers:
    • Barrier Cream (spot only): For wet/muddy rub zones (cannon crud, pasterns). Don’t coat entire limbs under wraps.
    • Kinesiology Support: Apply after gel absorbs, on dry, intact skin per EQUINE | DEFENDER directions.

Keep products out of high-friction saddle/girth contact if they reduce security. Test tack before mounting.

Pre-Ride

Loosen-Up Recipe (2–3 Minutes)

  1. Brush clean & dry. Quick heat/fill scan.
  2. Thin gel: fronts/shoulders, back/SI & loins, hamstrings. Let absorb fully.
  3. Warm-up: long-and-low, circles, serpentines; add transitions when swing appears.
Post-Ride

Cool-Down Recipe (3–5 Minutes)

  1. Walk down; remove gear; wipe sweat/dust.
  2. Thin gel on worked zones; allow absorption.
  3. Standing wraps optional per program; monitor heat/tension.
Wet Weather

Barrier Mindset (Spot Only)

  1. Thin gel → absorb fully.

  3. Avoid heavy layers under wraps/pads.
