The Stories Behind the Formula — Why We Omit & Why We Include

Every ingredient has a reason — or it doesn’t make the cut. Here’s how the original Draw It Out® formulas earned their place in barns worldwide.

Purpose-built. Sensation-free. Show-safe.

Why We Omit

  • Menthol — Common cooling agent; often flagged in competition. Removed to keep routines sensation-free and compliant.
  • Capsaicin — Controlled warming compound; excluded for peace of mind.
  • Alcohol (Ethanol/Isopropyl) — Dries and can sting; left out to protect sensitive skin.
  • Witch Hazel — Harsh astringent; replaced with aloe and chamomile for a gentler base.
  • Artificial Dyes & Fragrances — No performance value; excluded for clarity and purity.

Omission = Intention. Every removal is a decision to protect the horse’s comfort and your confidence in the show ring.

  • Arnica Extract — Botanical support for muscle comfort and recovery.
  • Magnesium Sulfate — Draws out tension and promotes relaxation.
