MasterMudd® — The Post-Run Secret Weapon

As a competitive barrel racer, my horses’ health and performance are always my top priority. I never leave home without having MasterMudd® stocked in my trailer. It’s been a total game-changer for managing inflammation and swelling, whether I’m using wraps or not. MasterMudd® goes on smooth and cool, providing relief in a way that’s noticeable after every application. I can honestly say it has become an essential part of my post-run routine. After every single barrel run, I apply MasterMudd® to ensure my horses feel their best, recover faster, and stay at peak performance. Whether we’re at a competition or training at home, MasterMudd® has my back —and more importantly, my horses’ legs! It’s the secret weapon that keeps them running strong.

Ema Klugman — International Five Star Event Rider — on MasterMudd™

MasterMudd™ You Can Trust Between Flags

We use MasterMudd™ on our three-day event horses regularly. After a jumping or galloping session and especially after a competition, we apply the Mudd to the front legs liberally, ensuring a thick layer over the tendons and ligaments down the back of the leg. The following day, we use a curry comb or stiff brush to remove the dried Mudd, and underneath the legs always look tight, cool, and normal. Because most of our horses live outside, we turn them out with the Mudd. But when we are at competitions, we apply standing bandages over the Mudd in the stall. I trust this product to keep my horses sound and ready to do their jobs!

MasterMudd™ Products by Draw It Out®

MasterMudd™ EquiBrace™ Pumpable Clay Brace

Quick answer: MasterMudd™ EquiBrace™ is the Draw It Out® clay-brace format for riders who want a pumpable, targeted step in an ordinary post-work or wash-rack routine. Use it only as the label directs, and do not cover unexplained heat, pain, swelling, wounds, or lameness with a topical routine.

When this collection is the right lane

Choose MasterMudd™ when a clay-brace format fits the job and you want controlled placement from a 64oz pump container. It is a different format from liniment gel, concentrate, or a cooling body wash. Format should follow the horse, the work, the area being checked, and the product label—not the idea that one product must do every job.

Choose MasterMudd™
For a pumpable clay-brace step in a regular barn or wash-rack routine.
Choose liniment gel
For ready-to-use, hands-on placement without mixing.
Choose cooling care
For hot-weather wash-rack and body-cooling routines.

Before applying any clay brace

  • Check both sides for heat, pain, swelling, wounds, and movement changes.
  • Start with clean skin and follow the current label for placement, contact time, removal, and wrap directions.
  • Do not assume more product or longer contact is better.
  • Stop and call your veterinarian for sudden or one-sided swelling, marked pain, lameness, a wound, fever, or rapid worsening.

Common MasterMudd™ questions

Is a clay brace the same as liniment gel? No. They are different formats with different application and removal routines. Choose from the label and the job rather than treating them as interchangeable.

Should MasterMudd™ go under a wrap? Only if the current product directions allow it and the person wrapping knows correct technique. Never use a wrap to hide heat, pain, swelling, or a movement change.
