Spray Liniments and Concentrates

Quick answer: Choose 32oz Concentrate as the standard starting point for spray bottles, sponge use, and broader barn coverage. Choose the 128oz gallon when an established multi-horse program needs a refill system. Use each live product card for current size and format availability before planning the routine.

“Spray liniment” can mean two different things: a bottle already prepared for use, or a concentrate that the barn measures and mixes according to its label. The format changes the workflow. It does not remove the need to check the horse first.

32oz Concentrate

The core mix-to-use size for most barns. It fits broader coverage without committing to a gallon and requires correct measuring, labeling, and storage.

128oz Concentrate

The gallon refill for trainers and multi-horse barns already running a disciplined concentrate system.

Ready-to-use spray

The no-mix lane when available. It prioritizes speed and convenience but offers less placement control than gel.

Travel concentrate

A compact mix-to-use format when available. It still requires the same label discipline as larger concentrate sizes.

Before choosing

  • Use gel when targeted stay-put placement matters more than broad coverage.
  • Use concentrate only when the barn will measure rather than guess.
  • Never mix concentrate with DMSO or random topicals.
  • Stop routine care for lameness, marked swelling, pain, wounds, or worsening changes.
