Whole Bean

A full-bodied coffee for long days, hard work and people who want their cup to taste like coffee.

Long Haul combines Brazilian coffee from Cerrado with Mexican coffee from Chiapas, then takes the roast into the satisfying ground between medium and dark. Rich cocoa, toasted nuts and a full body lead the cup, while careful sourcing and complementary processing preserve enough origin character to keep it balanced and memorable.

What is in the cup

  • Tasting notes: Rich cocoa and toasted nuts
  • Roast: Medium-dark
  • Body: Full and substantial
  • Balance: Roasted depth with clean sweetness
  • Origin scores: Brazil 83, Mexico 86

Origin and processing

  • Origins: Brazil and Mexico
  • Regions: Cerrado, Brazil and Chiapas, Mexico
  • Overall elevation: 900 to 1,750 meters above sea level
  • Brazilian component: 900 to 1,400 meters, pulped-natural process
  • Mexican component: 1,300 to 1,750 meters, washed process
  • Varietals: Bourbon, Typica, Catuaí, Catucaí and Mundo Novo

Why the blend works

The Brazilian component supplies the chocolate foundation, natural sweetness and full body. Coffee from Cerrado is known for consistent growing conditions and carefully controlled drying that creates a dependable, rounded base.

The Mexican component comes from family farms and cooperatives in Chiapas. Washed processing gives it cleaner structure, balanced acidity and enough brightness to keep the darker roast from becoming flat or heavy.

Mexican Bourbon and Typica contribute clean sweetness and structure. Brazilian Catuaí, Catucaí and Mundo Novo build body, chocolate depth and roasted-nut character. Together they create a medium-dark blend that is bold without losing its origin.

Sample roast profile

  • Sample batch: CSD071425
  • Roast date: July 14, 2025

Cold brew: Pulls forward the smooth body and cocoa character with restrained acidity.

Choose your grind

Whole Bean: Grind fresh for maximum aroma, body and flavor control.
