Absolutely love and my horses live the taste.
Racheal, thank you! Horses are honest critics, so hearing they love it is about as good as it gets. We’re grateful you trust Fluid Flex EQ to be part of their routine.
Humid weather makes small skin problems move faster. Wet coats, licking, chewing, dense fur, heat, and friction can turn a quiet spot into a loud one before owners expect it.
Warning signs include repeated licking or chewing, red or warm skin, trapped moisture, odor, matting, tenderness, and a spot that changes quickly. Keep the area clean and dry, stop repeated licking when you can do so safely, and call your veterinarian for painful, open, oozing, spreading, foul-smelling, or fast-changing skin.
Humidity slows drying. A damp collar line, wet belly, matted hair, or paw licking can hold moisture against the skin. Dogs that swim, roll in wet grass, ride in warm vehicles, or sleep before their coat is fully dry are more likely to need a careful skin check.
Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine notes that warm weather, swimming, summer rain, thick coats, and mats can leave moisture next to the skin and contribute to hot-spot concerns.
Keep the area clean and dry, avoid aggressive scrubbing, and prevent repeated licking or chewing if you can do so safely. Do not apply a grooming product to open, oozing, painful, or infected-looking skin. Contact the dog's veterinarian when the area changes quickly, appears painful, or does not settle.
For ordinary skin-and-coat conditioning around dirty, humid, outdoor-dog life, K9 TheraMud™ Skin & Coat Mud Mask can fit a routine after the skin has been checked and is intact. It is not a substitute for veterinary care and should not be used to cover open, oozing, painful, or spreading skin. More routine-first resources are available through the K9 by Draw It Out® dog care hub.
Call your veterinarian for open skin, oozing, bleeding, swelling, strong odor, fast spread, marked pain, repeated chewing, or a spot that keeps returning. Seek prompt care if your dog seems weak, feverish, unusually quiet, stops eating, or appears generally unwell.
Humidity slows coat drying and can hold moisture against the skin, especially under mats, collars, dense coats, and folded areas. Moisture, friction, and licking can make a developing problem easier to miss.
Do not aggressively shave, scrub, or apply products to painful or spreading skin without veterinary guidance. These areas can be tender, and an underlying cause may need professional evaluation.
Dry the coat thoroughly, brush out mats, remove and dry collars or harnesses, inspect hidden skin zones, and recheck any area the dog repeatedly licks or chews.
Call for open, oozing, bleeding, swollen, foul-smelling, painful, rapidly spreading, or recurring skin changes, or when the dog seems generally unwell.
Dry the hidden zones, check before bed, and treat fast-changing skin as a veterinary question. A two-minute inspection is more useful than guessing what is happening under the coat.
