Can You Take Topical Gel on a Plane? TSA Carry-On Guide
Container size controls the ordinary U.S. carry-on answer. The amount left inside a larger package does not make that package travel-size.
What TSA counts as a gel
Topical gels belong with the liquids, aerosols, creams, and pastes governed by TSA's carry-on container rule. Check the capacity printed on the original package. A half-empty 8oz container still counts as an 8oz container.
Screening officers make the final checkpoint decision. Rules outside the United States and individual airline baggage requirements can differ, so confirm the requirements for every airport and carrier on the trip.
Read the current TSA liquids, aerosols, and gels rule.
The practical decision before leaving home
Carry-on only
The active ReJüv™ Gel 3oz Travel Size is under the standard 3.4oz or 100 milliliter container limit. Keep it in its original labeled package and fit it inside the permitted quart-size liquids bag.
Checked luggage
The 8oz and 16oz ReJüv™ formats are larger than the standard carry-on container limit. When the airline and destination permit them, close the cap securely and protect the package from pressure and leaks in checked baggage.
Use at the destination
If you are not checking luggage, leave larger packages at home or arrange a current product at the destination. Confirm availability before the trip.
A five-step topical-gel packing checklist
- Read the package capacity. Use the number printed on the container, not an estimate of what remains.
- Check the current TSA page. Do this close to departure because screening guidance can change.
- Check the airline and destination. Baggage and international rules may add requirements.
- Keep the original label. Directions and warnings should stay with the product.
- Protect against leaks. Close the cap, inspect the package, and use a sealable pouch.
Where the current ReJüv™ lineup fits
- 3oz Travel Size: the compact trial and travel format, under the standard U.S. carry-on container-size limit.
- 8oz Classic: a straightforward mid-size home or ground-travel format.
- 8oz EZ Squeeze: controlled dispensing for work bags, riding bags, lockers, trucks, and ground travel.
- 16oz: the larger home-base value format.
The package size can help with travel planning, but it does not guarantee checkpoint clearance. Keep the 3oz in the quart-size bag and follow the instructions of the screening officer.
Need the compact travel format?
The 3oz package is the current ReJüv™ option that fits below the standard U.S. carry-on container-size limit.

Follow the current ReJüv™ label. Use externally on clean, dry, intact skin. Patch-test first if your skin is sensitive, avoid eyes and broken skin, wash hands after application, let the gel dry before clothing, and stop if irritation occurs.
ReJüv™ is a topical wellness product. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent an injury or disease, and it should not delay medical evaluation for severe, unexplained, worsening, or persistent symptoms.
Frequently asked questions
Can topical gel go in a carry-on bag?
Usually, yes, when each container is 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters or less and all liquids and gels fit inside the permitted quart-size bag. TSA officers make the final checkpoint decision.
Does a half-empty 8oz package count as 3.4oz or less?
No. TSA uses the container's capacity, not the amount remaining inside it.
Can ReJüv™ Gel 3oz go in the standard carry-on liquids bag?
The 3oz package is under the standard 3.4oz or 100 milliliter container-size limit. It still needs to fit in the permitted quart-size bag, and TSA officers make the final checkpoint decision.
Can larger ReJüv™ packages go in checked luggage?
Often, but check the airline and destination requirements. Keep the product in its original labeled package, close it securely, and protect it from leaks.
