Build Your Horse Recovery Routine

Your horse works hard—hauling, turning, jumping, pushing cattle. Here’s a field-tested routine riders use to keep recovery calm and consistent.

📅 Daily Post-Ride Routine

  1. Cool Down: Walk 10–15 minutes to bring the heart rate down and reset the mind.
  2. Thin Gel → Absorb: Apply Draw It Out® 16oz High Potency Gel to the back, shoulders, and hindquarters. Let hair go dry-to-touch before pads or wraps.
  3. Target Hotspots: Use CryoSpray® to cool high-stress joints or stifles after work.
  4. Check Hooves: For soreness, cracks, or thrush, reach for SilverHoof EQ Therapy® or RESTOREaHORSE® Salve.
  5. Wipe Down: Remove buildup and finish clean with ShowBarn Secret® Skin & Hair Enhancer.
