Mineral-Based Liniment: What the Label Can Tell You

Draw It Out® liniment uses a proprietary mineral blend. Earlier wording on this page presented “170+ minerals” as an established finished-product count. We have removed that wording because this page does not provide documentation that substantiates that count in the finished liniment.

Start with the finished product

An ingredient source and a finished formula are different things. A list associated with a raw material does not, by itself, establish the identity or concentration of every component in the bottle you buy. The current product label and product-specific information are the right starting points.

A mineral count is not a performance test

A large number does not establish that a topical product replenishes minerals through the skin, corrects a deficiency, treats an injury, or produces a particular result. Those are separate claims that need evidence suited to the finished product and the intended use.

What useful documentation would show

  • The specific material or finished product tested.
  • The batch or sample covered by the report.
  • The test method, measured substances, and reporting limits.
  • The actual results rather than a broad statement such as “all heavy metals undetected.”

A report on one sample also does not establish that every batch has been tested. We are not making that claim here.

Choose by format and directions

Compare Draw It Out® 16oz Gel with Draw It Out® 32oz Concentrate based on the application you need, the preparation involved, and their current directions. Use topical liniment as directed, and have unexplained soreness or lameness assessed rather than using a mineral count to decide what is wrong.
