Back-Comfort Routine with Draw It Out® Gel & Concentrate

Plain-English guidance for a tidy, show-friendly muscle-care routine. Always pair topical care with fit checks and your veterinarian’s advice.

When to Use

  • After work: Post-ride rub to support comfortable cooldown on big muscle groups (back/loin, glutes, hamstrings).
  • Before work: Light pre-ride massage as part of warm-up on schooling days.
  • Travel & multi-day shows: Daily routine care alongside stretching, hand-walking, and saddle fit checks.

How to Apply (competition-conscious Framing)

Gel (spot, no dilution)

  • Apply a thin layer to back/loin and other large groups.
  • Massage with flat hand, long strokes (avoid direct pressure over spine).
  • Allow to dry; no rinse required.

Concentrate (1:1 with water)

  • Mix 1 part Concentrate : 1 part water in a clean spray bottle.
  • Spray 6–8 inches from coat; sweep to lightly dampen area.
  • Hand rub to distribute; let air-dry. For spray-shy horses, apply with sponge/cloth.

Frequency

Use once or twice daily as routine care. Increase only as label permits and horse tolerates. If discomfort persists or worsens, stop and contact your veterinarian.

Targeting Common Groups

  • Trapezius/topline: Base of neck → withers, broad, feather-light pressure.
  • Longissimus dorsi: Either side of the spine (stay off bony processes), withers → loin.
  • Gluteals/hamstrings: Circular then long strokes toward hip.
Safety: For external use on intact skin only. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and open skin. Do not occlude tightly unless directed by a veterinarian. Fit-check saddle and pad; address training/load, footing, and shoeing variables.
